  2. That I'm Scottish maybe ;-)

    There's a very famous (to us anyway) Scottish ballad called 'The Twa Corbies' which takes the form of a dialogue between two crows speaking about eating a dead knight. I wonder if any other culture would have a poem like that as part of their heritage?

    Or maybe it's just that I see beauty in weird things, even tattered plastic on barbed wire against the rising sun.

    Ah well, winter arrived in Scotland! Snowed here on 1st December.

    Snow has already covered some parts of Romania (the mountainous areas), and it may arrive in Bucharest this week.
