So we're into Autumn. My favourite season in some ways. We had a fairly nice Summer in the Highlands this year; I modestly photographed myself on a sunlit walk (as you can see I became the most tanned man north of Berwick on Tweed) and took a few pics of the scenery.
@Bogdan This was the coldest summer on record in Scotland. But it was fairly sunny and lasted quite long by our standards.
Here's hoping we have a nice Scottish Autumn and that things look up for yourself and Georgiana. But it is a nice thought that you might visit us in an independent Scotland ;-)
Bye, bye summer, indeed! :-(
ReplyDeleteIn Romania, we dind't have a proper autumn this year. Sept was very hot, like a continuation of summer, then up until Oct 7th, summer was still here.
From the night of Oct 7th to 8th, winter came. Very, very cold weather and last weekend even brought some snow in the mountains.
It's weird that it's cold but trees are still relatively green, not scarlet, yellow, brown yet...
I am still hoping for a long autumn, as last year's Oct was also pretty cold, then autumn came back in its full splendour in Nov.
May you have a nice Scottish autumn!
I and Georgiana would very much like to see Scotland in autumn!
Sadly, for the time being, it's more likely for Scotland to become independent then for us to go back there... but it's all in the Lord's hands...
